Terms & Conditions for the Supply of Services & Goods

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of goods and services, including on-site services, by Victoria IT Pty Limited (ABN: 70 677 062 529) (“Victoria IT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer (“you” or “your”). These Terms outline your rights and obligations as a customer of Victoria IT. By engaging with Victoria IT, you agree to these Terms. Please review them carefully before engaging our services or purchasing goods.

1. Definitions

  • "Goods": Any products, hardware, software, or materials supplied by Victoria IT.
  • "Services": IT solutions and tech services provided by Victoria IT, including repairs, setup, installation, maintenance, custom PC builds, troubleshooting, data recovery, and support.
  • "On-Site Services": Any services performed at your premises or specified location.
  • "Agreement": The contract formed when you accept our quote or engage us for services, governed by these Terms.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a quote, booking a service, or purchasing goods, you accept and agree to these Terms.

3. Scope of Services

3.1 Services Offered

Victoria IT provides a wide range of IT solutions, including:


  • On-site and remote IT support.
  • Computer repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Installation and setup of hardware and software.
  • Virus, spyware, and malware removal.
  • Data backup, recovery, and transfer.
  • Network and internet troubleshooting.
  • Managed IT Services (MSP) agreements.


3.2 On-Site Services

a ) Booking: On-site services can be arranged by contacting us. A suitable workspace must be provided for our technician.


b) Travel Fees: Travel charges may apply, depending on your location. These will be confirmed before the appointment.


c) Customer Presence: You or an authorized representative must be present during the service unless otherwise agreed.


d) Access Issues: If we are unable to access the location at the scheduled time, resulting in delays or rescheduling, additional fees may apply.


e) Confirmation of Work: At the completion of on-site services, we will seek confirmation of satisfaction. Any issues must be reported immediately.


3.3 Timeframes

Service delivery times depend on task complexity, resource availability, and other factors. We will endeavor to provide accurate time estimates.


3.4 Customer Obligations

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information, maintain system accessibility, and ensure a safe environment for our technicians.

4. Goods

4.1 Delivery

Goods will be delivered to the address specified during your order. Delivery times may vary depending on availability and logistics.


4.2 Ownership and Risk

Ownership of goods remains with Victoria IT until full payment is received. Risk passes to you upon delivery.


4.3 Returns and Refunds

Goods can be returned if they are faulty, damaged, or not as described, in compliance with Australian Consumer Law. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt. Remedies may include repair, replacement, or refund.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Service Charges

All services will be charged as per the quote provided. Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed.


5.2 Goods Pricing

Prices for goods are subject to change without notice and include GST unless stated otherwise.


5.3 Late Payments

Overdue payments may incur interest at a rate of 15% per annum from the invoice date until fully paid.


5.4 Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods include cash, EFT, credit/debit cards, or other agreed-upon options.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

6.1 Cancellations

Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.


6.2 Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late changes may incur a rescheduling fee.


7. Warranties and Liability

7.1 Service Warranty

We warrant that all services will be performed with due care and skill. Notify us within 30 days of any issues for rectification at no extra cost.


7.2 Goods Warranty

Goods are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, where applicable. Additional warranties are provided only if explicitly stated.


7.3 Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Victoria IT disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, business interruption, or lost profits.


7.4 Data Responsibility

While we take precautions to protect your data, you are responsible for backing up your data prior to service. Victoria IT is not liable for data loss unless due to gross negligence.

8. Force Majeure

Victoria IT is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, accidents, or government restrictions.

9. Confidentiality and Privacy

9.1 Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of your information and will not disclose it unless required by law or necessary for service completion.


9.2 Privacy Compliance

Victoria IT complies with Australian privacy laws. Refer to our Privacy Policy on our website for details.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Australian law. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria, Australia


11. Amendments

Victoria IT reserves the right to amend these Terms. The most recent version will be available on our website.
