Terms & Services of Victoria IT

Welcome to Victoria IT Pty Limited. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding of our service policies and provide transparency.

1. Services Offered

Victoria IT Pty Limited provides IT solutions and technical services for businesses and homes, including but not limited to:


  • Computer repairs, setup, and installation
  • Virus, spyware, and malware removal
  • Data backup and recovery
  • Custom PC builds
  • Networking and internet troubleshooting
  • Remote and onsite IT support


2. Service Agreement

2.1 No Fix, No Fee Policy

If we are unable to repair your computer, you will not be charged for technician service. However, this policy does not apply in the following cases:


  • Diagnostic Fees: Any applicable diagnostic fees for initial assessments.
  • Declined Repairs: If a solution is provided and you choose not to proceed.
  • Non-Refundable Services: Parts replacement, software installations, or other services where returns are not possible.

2.2 Diagnosis and Quotation

  • We provide an initial diagnosis and quotation for repair.
  • If you decline the quotation or the device is beyond repair due to unavailability of parts, a diagnosis fee may be charged.

2.3 Exclusions to the No Fix, No Fee Policy

The policy does not apply to:

  • Data Recovery Services: Complex recovery of lost or damaged data.
  • Virus and Spyware Removal: Cases involving extensive virus or malware infections.
  • Third-Party Services: Issues caused by third-party providers (e.g., Internet Service Providers).
  • Power Surge Damage: Repairs due to electrical damage from power surges.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy

3.1 Cancellations

  • You may cancel a service appointment, including on-site services, by giving us at least 24 hours' notice.
  • If you fail to provide sufficient notice, a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the first hour of on-site service may apply. This fee helps reimburse us for the loss and expense incurred.

3.2 Rescheduling

  • Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Late changes to appointments may incur a rescheduling fee.


4. Customer Responsibilities

To facilitate the repair process, customers are required to:


  • Provide original software and licenses as necessary.
  • Supply all necessary passwords and access credentials.
  • Failure to comply may result in additional charges or the inability to complete the repair.


5. Approval of Repairs

  • Repairs will only commence after explicit customer approval.
  • We will provide clear communication about the scope of work and associated costs before starting.


6. Warranty

  • Hardware repairs are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, subject to their terms.
  • Warranty coverage excludes issues resulting from customer misuse or interference.



7. Limitations of Liability

Victoria IT Pty Limited will not be held responsible for:


  • Data loss during repair processes. Customers are advised to back up their data.
  • Damage caused by customer-provided parts or software.


8. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Unpaid invoices may incur additional fees or penalties.
